Skorne was lead by Paweł Blados.
My WTC Captain and one of the best Polish players.

I’m going first.

Deployment :

Idrians prey at Turtles.

Idrians ran aggressively forward.
Rhupert gave Pathfinder to Harbinger.
She just ran to the safe place.
Dwarves ran as far as possible.

Morghoul cast Shadow Play on himself.
Drakes ran forward.
2x Krea cast their animi.
Left Turtle started shooting at Idrians, but nothing special happened.
Right Turtle dealt 7 dmg to my Champion.
Archidon hid behind the building.

End of 1st round :

On the left flank, few Idrians charged at Turtle, dealing some serious dmg to him.
Monks said +4 DEF and come to contest the zones.
Harbinger said FEAT.
Choir said Passage.
Rest of the army came into positions.

Morghoul said FEAT + charged my right Monk.
He also cast Archidon’s animus (Sprint), killed the Monk (Grev Wounds) and ran out to the safe position.
Skorne annihilated my entire right flank.
I also lost the Champion 🙁
Morghoul’s FEAT is devastating.
Harbinger used thousand of Martyrdoms and left on 2 HP.

0-2 on the scenario.

End of 2nd round :

Dwarves charged at left Turtle and Archidon, killing both.
Monk said +4 DEF and went towards the right zone.
Few models ran to contest the right zone.
I also tried to destroy the objective, but it survives on 2 boxes 🙁

Still 0-2 on the scenario.

On the right flank, Turtle took care of Crusader in the right zone.
Right Agonizer used his animus, to push back contesting Idrian and clear the zone.
Rest of the army started killing whatever was possible to kill.
Once again, Harbinger used so many Martyrdoms and left on 3 HP.

0-3 on the scenario.

End of 3rd round :

Monk said +4 DEF and came to contest the right zone.
Reclaimer gave Ashen Veil to him.
So, my Monk has 22 DEF now 🙂
I killed few models on the left flank.
I also took care of the objective, at least..
The Book said “no spell casting in my cmd”, to avoid Agonizer’s animus.

2-3 on the scenario.

One Paingiver came to contest the left zone.
Rest of the army tried to kill the Monk, but without much success.

Still 2-3 on the scenario.

End of 4th round :

In the next three rounds, I completely dominated the left flank.
Skorne had no opportunity to enter the left zone, so I started scoring in Paweł’s turn.
The only thing left to Paweł, was to kill that annoying Monk, who is contesting the right zone.
Unfortunately, one and only model who can do this, is Morghoul (Grev Wounds).
He needed “14” on 3d6 to hit.
Morghoul tried it every turn, but he did not succeed until the end of the game.

At the end of the 7th round, I won the game by scenario.

End of the game :

A few words after game :

  • It was a hard game.
After Morghoul’s FEAT, Paweł had a big advantage.
  • I was forced to play only on the left side.
Fortunately, Monks with Harb, were what I needed to contest the right zone.
They are just amazing with Ashen Veil!
