I’m going first.

Deployment :

Durst cast Hallowed Avenger on the left Templar.
He also cast Bulwark on himself.

Karchev cast Road to War on himself.
Rest of the Khador army just ran forward.

End of 1st round :

Durst came behind the wall.
Sanctifier and Dervish ran to the left zone.
Templar, Indictor and another Dervish came to the middle and right zone.
All of my Jacks were outside of Khador’s heavies threat ranges.
Zealots ran to disturb my opponent.

Devastators and Destroyer came to the zones.
Right Eliminators killed Anastasia.
Left Eliminators charged at Sanctifier and they did a lot too much …
Sanctifier lost 15/16 boxes.
My opponent specially did not kill any of my infantry models.
He did not want to activate Hand of Vengeance bonus on my Jacks.

End of 2nd round :

Zealots killed left Eliminators and Marksman (pow 8 blasts).
Left Dervish destroyed objective.
Sanctifier and Templar charged at Devastator.
They did a lot of dmg to him, but unfortunately, they did not damage any system 🙁
On the right flank, I managed to smash another Devastator.
Durst FEAT.

1-0 on the scenario.

Right Eliminators destroyed objective.
Karchev FEAT.
Juggernauts and Devastator destroyed my Sanctifier and Templar.
On the right side, Devastators… did nothing.
My opponent wanted them to stay in 23 arm “form”.
Once again, none of my infantry models were killed.
Another turn without Hand of Vengeance incoming..

End of 3rd round :

Durst ran to the safe place.
Jacks tried to do “anything”, but without much success.

Khador managed to clear the left zone.
Juggernauts began to approach the right flank.

1-2 on the scanerio.

End of 4th round :

Fortunately for me, my opponent finished the previous turn with 2 minutes on the clock.

In the next round, I won the game by deathclock.

A few words after game :

  • My opponent added two Juggernauts to his list.
    It has changed a lot.
  • I had some bad luck attacking Khador’s Jacks.
    I did a lot of dmg to them, but unfortunately, I was not able to turn off any significant system.
  • The idea, of ​​not killing my infantry was very apt.
    My Jacks, without Hand of Vengeance, have a big problem with beating 23 arm Devastators.


  1. Did you not get the chance to run the infantry literally in front of his Jacks so that they cannot physically move past them without having to attack them or do they just get Bulldozed out of the way if you try it? 🙂

    1. I tried, but unfortunately it is not as easy as it seems 🙁
      Finding the right angles for almost every infantry model consumes time terribly.

      1. Yeah I can appreciate that may be an issue and with an opponent who knows that you’ll be able to crack his Jacks a lot easier with the theme buff triggered and so therefore avoids it completely that is an issue, ah well 🙂

          It was impossible to deal with this amount of 23 ARM Jacks without Hand of Vengeance.
          And my opponent knew it very well …

          That’s why he completely ignored the Zealots, who could not do much to him.
