Skorne was lead by Hans Kjenes – Norway WTC player.

I’m going first.

Deployment :

Vindictus cast Def Ward on left Errants and Admonition on Templar.
Choir said Passage.
Rest of the army just ran.

Xerxis cast Rapport on Archidon.
Rest of the army came forward and stayed outside of my charge ranges.

End of 1st round :

Vindictus cast True Path + FEAT.
Errants came forward and started shooting at Drakes.
Jacks ran forward.
Devout ran to the right zone.
Gravus ran to the left flag.

Xerxis also used his FEAT.
Drakes killed a lot of my models.
Magical sprays were the perfect answer for my FEAT.
Krea ran to contest the right zone.
Gobber Chef ran to the flag to score a point.
No one had the opportunity to contest Gravus’s flag.

1-2 on the scenario.

End of 2nd round :

I did everything to get rid of as many models as possible.
I managed to kill 3 drakes, Krea and Gobber Chef.
Rhupert ran to the left flag.
Devout stayed in the right zone to score a point.

3-2 on the scenario.

Archidon took care of Dervish + Sprint back.
Battle Engines shot few models.
They also came to contest my flag and zone.
Xerxis came to the left zone .

3-3 on the scenario.

End of 3rd round :

The only chance to continue fighting, was to get rid of right BE.
Unfortunately, he survived on 3/4 hp 🙁
At this point, the game is over for me.

Still 3-3 on the scenario.

Hans killed almost every model on the left flank.
Xerxis cast Ignite on Archidon, who destroyed Templar + Sprint back.
Paingiver came to the middle zone to score a point.

3-5 on the scenario.

End of 4th round :

Errants shot Paingiver in the zone.
Knight Exemplar finished right BE.
Vindictus score a point in the right zone.
I did not have any models to contest the left zone.

4-6 on the scenario.

Xerxis ran to the left flag.
Beast Handlers came to the middle zone.
Archidon ran to contest my zone.
Krea stayed in the left zone.

4-8 on the scenario.

No matter what I do in my next turn, the game is lost.

I lost the game by scenario.

End of the game :

A few words after game :

  • It’s hard to imagine worse paring.
A lot of magical, hard-hitting and accurate attacks.
  • I really like Hans’s list.
Even if you can get rid of Drakes, you do not have enough attacks to deal with 2x BE.
  • The only way to deal with this list, is to play very widely.
I played too narrowly, which resulted in the loss of many models.
  • Hans, thanks for the game!
    I’m waiting for a rematch 🙂
