Feora3 was lead by Christian Brubakken – one of the best Norway players.
And definitely one of the best PoM players in the world.
Currently, with team Norway Munin, he is the second in the world!

Christian goes first.

Deployment :

Elias Gade prey at left Cleansers.

Feora cast Redline on Sanctifier.
Whole army ran forward.
Flame Bringers stayed outside of my charge ranges.
Flameguard Cleansers stayed outside of my shooting ranges.

Vindictus cast Def Ward on right Errants and Admonition on Templar.
He also used FEAT.
Choir said Passage.
Errants started shooting at cavalry.
Unfortunately, without much success.

End of 1st round :

Christian withdrew his cavalry slightly.
Cleansers came a little bit forward, still staying outside of my charge ranges.

Errants shot as many Cleansers as possible.
Rest of the army ran into positions.
Choir said Passage.
Rhupert gave Tough to left Errants.

End of 2nd round :

Feora came forward and said FEAT.
Cavalry and assaulting Cleansers killed a lot of my army.
Models that survived were set on fire.

The situation looks terrible for me.
The only chance for a win, is CK attempt.
Let’s do this!
Firstly, Devout slammed Sanctifier into Feora.
She took few dmg, but the most important – she fell over.
Secondly, Dervish charged at Nicia and reach Feora after Side Step.
He did few dmg to her.
Rest of my army killed disturbing enemy models.
All this, to make room for the two charging (into Feora) Knights – Battle-Driven activated.
Everything went according to plan.
Now, one thing left.
Templar must charge anything to reach and kill my Errant, who blocks the way to the Feora.
So, he charged at Cleanser and hit him with the shield.
Flail attack MISSED my Errant on the back…
All I needed, was “4” on 2d6 …
Because of that, only one Knight is able to charge at Feora, not two.
I can do nothing more, so this one Knight charged with mini feat.
As I expected, it was not enough to kill Feora.
After that, I gave up the game.

I lost the game by submission.

End of the game :

A few words after game :

  • Templar!
Throughout the game, you had only one task – hit that Errant…
And you did not make it.
  • The starting roll means too much in this matchup.
It’s almost “who won the start roll won the game”.
  • Christian, it was great to play with you the first and last game in Oslo!
Thanks for everything and see you soon! 😉
