yesterday I played vs Kamil and his Rask.
Our lists below :

Scenario – Standoff
We both chose “healing” objective.
After winning the starting roll, I decided to go 1st.
Deployment :
Mercenaries :
MacBain cast Fortune on Galleon.
He also cast Energizer and Fail-Safe on right Toro.
Rest of the army just ran forward.
Minions :
Rask cast Admonition on Swamp Horror.
Kwaak gave Enliven to Wrastler and Bull Snapper.
Mist Speaker gave Eyeless Sight to Alten, who killed Eliminator 🙁
Rest of the army ran into positions.
After 1st round :
Mercenaries :
I saw an opportunity to drag and kill Swamp Horror.
After this, Galleon will be in Wrastler’s charge range.
I calculated it and I’m going to trade Galleon for 2 Heavies.
It isn’t a bad deal in this matchup I guess, so I took it.
Galleon drag and killed Swamp Horror.
MacBain cast Fail-Safe on Galleon.
Left Eliminator charged at Brine dealing few dmg to him.
Rest of my models ran to their positions.
Minions :
Three Husks came from Ambush and ran to engage my models.
Rask shot at Galleon to dispel Fail-Safe.
He also cast all possible buffs on
Wrastler charged and easily took care of colossal.
Brine wanted to destroy my objective, but Toro counter charged him and he left only with “Mind”.
Objective survived on 6 boxes :
Rask scored a point in his zone.

After 2nd round :
Mercenaries :
FEAT time!
Now or never.
MacBain chose two Eliminators, few Pirates and important solos.
Pirates and Bosun took care of two Husks in the right zone.
Some models (under FEAT) ran to contest Minions zone.
One Toro finished Brine.
Second Toro took care of Wrastler.
Aiyana and Holt scored a point in the right zone.
2-1 for me
Minions :
Alten shot Eliminator.
Rask came to the safe place and cast all possible buffs on Snake.
Snake charged at the objective, killed it, Overtake to reach Toro and destroy him.
Unfortunately, no one came to contest the right zone.
3-1 for me
After 3rd round :
Mercenaries :
Toro (with Fortune) killed the Snake.
Pirates and Eliminators ran to contest the zones.
5-1 for me
Minions :
Bull Snapper (with all possible dmg buffs from Rask) charged at Toro.
He dealt some serious dmg, destroying left arm and movement system.
Alten and Rorsh killed Eliminators in the left zone.
Husk and Dahlia ran to contest my zone.
Unfortunately, no one was able to contest the right zone.
6-3 for me
After 4th round :
Mercenaries :
Toro killed Bull Snapper.
Pirates ran to contest the Minions zone.
Orin and MacBain took care of Dahlia and Husk in my zone.
None of my models were able to contest the left zone.
8-4 for me
Minions :
Kamil contested whole possible zones.
And..that’s all.
He scored two points.
8-6 for me
After 5th round :
Mercenaries :
We were running out of time.
I had less than a minute on the clock, Kamil had 5 seconds.
Bosun killed Soul Slave in the right zone.
Pirate ran to contest Minions zone.
MacBain cast Energizer and Fail-Safe on Toro, who ran to contest the left zone.
9-6 for me
Minions :
Kamil had 5 seconds on the clock, which was impossible to destroy Toro in the zone.
So, we ended the game.

Afterthoughts :
I knew, that Rask will be very good vs MacBain.
Every heavy Beast is able to solo destroy Galleon.
That’s why I wanted to trade my Galleon for as many Heavies as possible.
Fail-Safe is just amazing!
Toro without Movement/Shield?
It’s not a problem!
You can firstly activate MacBain, cast Fail-Safe on Toro, then activate Toro and all systems are working fine 🙂
Bosun Grogspar did a great job in this battle.
His throw on melee weapon helped me a lot with Husks.
All in all, a really nice game!
